ROGRIPs: Better gripping and clamping

They are probably the most important tools for plumbing & HVAC-R professionals, and for industrial applications — and are indispensable at all construction sites: They are the water pump pliers that are basic equipment in every toolbox. In daily use, the demands on pliers are extremely high. Gripping pipes and flat materials, as well as square and hexagon bolts, requiring maximum even force transfer and high-quality materials. With the new, rapidly adjustable ROGRIP F, M and S, Super Ego has developed a new generation of water pump pliers. With 30% higher gripping capacity than previous models, combined with other improvements, they simply make work easier.

The three models don’t differ in their basic equipment. The improved gripping capacity is possible thanks to 3-point gripping technology through the middle of the jaws up to the maximum pipe diameter.  Special attention was paid to ergonomics. The curved design of the hand grips makes it easier to work with large pipe dimensions and makes it harder to trap fingers. Furthermore, the hand grips have been widened, which improves force transfer. All models come in 7” and 10” versions. The 10” version has the same capacity as the previous 12” pliers.

In addition to these features, the ROGRIP S is equipped with a sizing scale to help adapt to pipe dimensions and has 10-point adjustment. The ROGRIP M has both of these features, as well as plastic-coated, anti-slip hand grips. With ROGRIP F, “F” stands for fast. This is due to its safety lock system, which allows quick 18-position adjustment at the touch of a button. At the same time, the mechanism prevents accidental opening. Like the ROGRIP M, the ROGRIP F has plastic-coated hand grips.

The new-generation ROGRIP is also a winner when it comes to quality of materials and is completely manufactured in Super Ego's own plants from hard-tempered, drop-forged chrome vanadium steel, with a heavy-duty box joint. The head and joint are polished, and the jaws are double hardened.

With the new ROGRIP water pump pliers, the user will have chosen right tool with the maximum grip.
